The term "Black Swan" is often used to describe major unforeseen events that may cause sudden and dramatic changes in our society. This category highlights several potential catastrophes and threats that may be looming ahead such as Economic Collapse, Global Pandemic, Energy Shock, Climate Change, WMD’s (including biological, nuclear, terrorist attacks etc), Nuclear Disasters, EMP’s (electromagnetic pulse), and Civil Unrest & Martial Law. Incidentally, we have researched and reported on these same Black Swans in great detail in our Thinking the Unthinkable Series of white papers available for sale on this site. Finally, we have added a Miscellaneous sub-category is for other potential “Black Swans” events that might not fit into a single topic listed above.
